Citrus And Finch
It's late in the day, actually, it's almost another day, it's 11:08pm on Sunday night, just enough time to get this post together to link up with Rebecca Cooper on her blog, Simple As That.
It all started with an orange. I was trying to attract Orioles. But apparently the House Finch is quite fond of this outstanding citrus fruit.
He is thinking about diving in.
Every Sunday she has a link up for anyone to share how the simple moments were found through photography during our week. I rarely partake, because unless I'm using Instagram, my photos pretty much stink. Just being honest. But I love this link up because it challenges me. I am not good at photography, but I've always been attracted to the art of it, and I don't mind trying.
I took these pictures with my regular camera, it's a Canon, that's all I know about the camera.
You will see why I participated this week!!! I am so excited to share my pictures with you, so without further adieu, here is my friend, the House Finch.

Getting distracted is an easy thing for birds. That is why I am so thankful for this moment I got with this guy!
{I shot from inside the living room while he was on my deck, through my french doors}
And that they actually turned out and needed very little editing. Look at his feet!

Oh I will never be able to describe my love and fascination I have for birds. They are the most endearing, sweet, mysterious, beautiful, lovely, amazing, intricate, precious, cutest things ever. There is nothing quite like a bird to help me through the week.
I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed my moment in capturing them!
I love this photo! The orange and the bird are so vibrant :)
