Autumn, In The Midwest
Madz and her partner for Homecoming waiting anxiously to get started.
Spotting a family member!
Grammy! The family member she spotted.
All the girls nominated. (Can we say short and tight dresses?!?)
Learning choreo
Madz and her cousin Sophia
When she was walking down during the slideshow, she stopped at the seniors
and gave them a peek underneath her dress at the sparkles.
And then crowned, King and Queen!
Naughty naughty, no behavior for a Queen-tiff tiff!
Around the house a bit.
1.) My new craft room is coming along,
I hung my hoops on an used 70's coat rack, member those things?!
2.) Nic nacs on my vintage re-purposed shelf.
Some Madelynn made, some I made and some were given to me.
3.) My dining room.
4.) My new mug and journals.
Oh the colors this season!
I was feeling happy when I started to feel
better after a bad bout of fatigue for about 4 days.
I started my Lay Counseling class at church, so now I have
books to read, papers to write and tests to take.
1.) My first book I have to complete and a snack.
2.)That's my book bag and my new mum.
A relaxing day with the hubby drinking coffee.
Mums, Nells having fun in the mud, and flowers along the freeway.
1.) I so enjoy Sunflower season, it was nice to have
them on my window sill for a short time.
2.) I was having a rough day.
3.) Me and my girl out at Homecoming festivities.
4.) My bedroom; I got a used quilt for 6.99.
1.) My latest embroidery piece
2.) Mums in my front yard
3.) A shelf in my new craft room
4.) My trusted turquoise poncho that I finally
got to pull out last week.
1.)Embroidery piece (sorry poor photo)
2.) Working away on Granny Squares! I think
this color combo is my fave.
Nells, Nells and more Nells. I can't help myself.
HE WORE A RASPBERRY BERET....
1.) Not any ol' coffee, chocolate people, chocolate. It.was.divine.
2.) Banana bread bakin.
3.) Yorkshire Gold tea with cream and sugar.
4.) Mine and Madelynn's afternoon snack,
good ol' Micky's Sweet 16's. We love em.
We still haven't been to the pumpkin patch or the apple orchard--two things I still want to do!
Thanks so much for all your love and support the last couple of posts about Madelynn's
Senior pictures, and her being Homecoming Queen. Your kindness and thoughtfulness
means so much to me.
