A Homecoming Queen? And Senior Pictures
A cool shot of her purity ring--melt my heart.
Stone Arch Bridge/Mpls.
That's Minneapolis you see there, friends.
Of course me having to get an Instagram in there, haha.
I must say how surreal it is when your child gets their senior pics done.
It's a moment, one of the moments you think about for their whole life,
and when I think back to thinking that, that moment seemed like it just happened--
and now here she is--
and now here she is--
tears fill my eyes! It's truly been nearly 18 years, and I can not believe the woman
before me. I adore these photos and how they turned out. They are a true
reflection of who Madelynn is and who is yet still becoming.
This photo is Madelynn's favorite! I can see why.
Well this girl is up for Homecoming Queen! The crowning is tomorrow. And although Madelynn, by worlds standards is pretty, she is popular, yes. But this girl is nominated for so many more reasons than that! She has a heart of gold. The minute you meet her, you are changed. If you are so lucky enough to be riddled with her presence, you would see this girl loves people through and through, loves God, and exudes beauty and joy. She is a positive light and leader to all her peers.
You can bet I'll be rootin for her tomorrow at the pep fest, and I'll be hopin she's crowned. But if she's not, she still wears a crown in my eyes, and she is forever my princess, and forever a King's kid.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you'll have a fresh new start of your week!!!
HUGS!
I lost my mom a few years back due to her health, but it is so sweet to see other people write/talk about their own daughters.
I somehow imagine that if my mom had a blog, or fb, or whatever, if she were still here today, she would say something similar about me.
anyway, this was beautiful, and I really liked the pictures.
;D
