Bluebirds
I am an avid Bird watcher. I sort of "took it up" this spring when I started to buy books. I knew it was official then. I had always loved birds, but now I was more interested in who they were and what were their names.
here is the bird book that I like the best. . .
to see birds any ol' day. And I love that about being home, it helps
my soul so much.
My husband bought me a pair of binoculars too, so it's easier to spot the type of bird it is.
So I have this little big list of birds I STILL want to see and identify (nerd I know),
and on that list for a while has been the EASTERN BLUEBIRD. I have never seen one
in my life until 2 weeks ago!
Turns out it was a whole family living in my backyard while they were migrating through waiting for grasshoppers! This cute family was here in my yard for a week!

You can get his addition for whatever state you live in.
I got it for Christmas last year; I like it because it's super easy to use. And the pictures are fantastic.
It's made for the lay person to be able to quickly reference birds.
I like that a lot.
Because I'm home during the day, everyday, it's more common for meto see birds any ol' day. And I love that about being home, it helps
my soul so much.

Here is a book my daughter bought me for my Birthday, I adore it!
The pictures are gorgeous and so artistic!

The pics aren't the best, but I still wanted to share. . .

I felt so lucky and so blessed.
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
Matthew 6:26
This reminds me of how much God loves each and every one of us.He has his eye on the sparrow, so think of how much more he loves us.
That's pretty lovely.
As much as I have enjoyed the pictures on this page of all the pretty birds, I must say my favorite part was what you said at the very end: God has his eye on the sparrow, so think of how much more he loves us.
ReplyDeleteI was secretly hoping I'd see that quote along with the pictures :)
