One Little Pooch

After a nice bath--hmm fluffy good!

nells-2011 (he looks suspicious often, it's cute)

It's amazing to me after 5 and a half years what ONE little POOCH can do!
This dog brings me just as much joy if not more than any human does--

Nells was born on December 7, 2005. My husband and daughter purchased him
for me at a pet store--pretty old fashioned, huh? He is the LIGHT of my life!

Nells means so much to me I think for a couple of reasons.

#1- he is a good replacement
for my maternal clock ending too soon. I was never able to have more children,
so having this little guy to share all my affection with-helps. (My daughter doesn't let
me squeeze her anymore, I don't blame her, she's almost 17).

The #2 reason is that I am a young mother of a 16 year old, and I don't have any
other children, AND I don't work. So I'm home pretty much all day and
everyday, and let me tell you, having Nells brings so much joy to my day.

I believe he was a gift straight from God. I'm unable to work due to health issues still-
so my days can get long.

So this is a shout out to my little furry, apricot Bichon-Poo, for loving me for me
and for letting me kiss you to death!

You bring me sunshine,
laughter,
companionship,
fun,
forgiveness when I'm frustrated with you,
and you brighten all my days,
and I thank God for you Nells!

It's a BEAUTIFUL love affair!
