Coffee Girl

I whole heartily, hands down, totally and completed without a doubt seek out and AM a COFFEE GIRL.

It all started after I was laid off from my advertising job back in the beginning of 2002. It ended up being a blessing for many reasons, but for one--I became a BARISTA!

Besides being a child of God, Wife and Mother, it is my favorite job to date. I adored it.

One way or another, I am usually seeking out coffee! I enjoy the experience, the moment and the taste.

Coffee with my daughter after church at Caribou

I worked in the coffee business for about 5 years, until I had to quit 4 years ago due to my health; oh,
how I long to be a Barista again some day!

 Coffee and PIE-best combination ever.

Father's Day downtown Minneapolis. There is something so sweet about sharing a cup of coffee with someone who loves it as much as I do.
My girlfriend at I having dinner and dessert before Swan Lake/Mpls Feb 2011.....coffee!
(cream please)!

I wouldn't say I'm a coffee snob though...Although I am picky about consistency, which can be hard to find these days.

I find with the Third Wave (clover brewed/single brew at a time)-- of coffee makers, there's a guarantee that I'll get an amazing cup of coffee
whether it's brewed or a Latte'.

While in Chicago this past weekend everyone I was with was gracious enough to let me hunt down INTELLIGENTSIA! One of my favorite coffee shops in the world. It was all I imagined and MORE.

Clover style, SO GORGEOUS!

I was so happy to be there, but I was soooo pooped out from the day before!

Sleepy eyes, maybe I should have had 2 lattes?

MMMmmmm Latte' perfection and cream cheese croissant! I was in heaven. There's a pound of BEANS in that bag :0

Everybody should believe in something. I believe I'll have another cup of coffee. Anonymous

I think we are the same person! I love coffee. LOVE IT. I work in the coffee industry. I am an avid pie maker so coffee + pie is the winning combo. I am a TOTAL coffee snob. Hands down. I admit it. :) Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a new follower. Your hair is darling and that one pic with your friend at dinner with the feather-y hair clip.... adore! Happy day to you. May you have some delicious coffee like I am right now. :)
you always look so beuatiful! your hair is just effortlessly chic girl. i'm not sure if it counts but i am a chai tea latte aholic. i never drank anything even close to coffee, but then i went to India and became obsessed with chai... craved it when i came home and starbucks got me. lol.
KYle! :0 BUSTELO, love it, I love brewing espresso as "regular coffee" for my mornings! Gurrrlll your comment made me smile and lifted me up, thank you ! I'm so happy to have you following along!
Ashely, my sis is a chai tea girl, there is somethin about a chai too, it's fun to explore the different ones out there, so many! thank you for your compliments ;)
Nancy! What do you do for a living? I used to train barista's when new coffee shops would open and I ran a Caribou! And I was having a cup when I read your comment, it was sweet. THX
