These seasons are always firmly in the hand of Jesus because "No one can snatch anyone out of His hand." I know what it's like to have your circumstances rock your faith...Man, oh man, the last few months have been tremendous and I have faced so many personal waves that have left me feeling so ruined. But I was thinking this morning about the armour of God - Paul stated that faith was a shield. Why a shield? Why not a breastplate, like that of righteousness? Why not shoes, like those of peace? Because a shield can be moved. It's a free moving object, which you hold in your hand, to face the oncoming arrows. Wherever the arrows attack, you make sure that shield guards you. You turn it whatever direction the arrows are coming from. It's a versatile thing. So, wherever these arrows are coming from, turn your shield to face them and hold it high. Hit back with the word and know that He has guarded you with His love, His truth and His righteousness. You'll get through this - I know you will :)<br />Love xxLaurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12927379029128511336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5055985957805570070.post-89221749493235611282014-06-13T01:18:24.371-05:002014-06-13T01:18:24.371-05:00I remember this age...and honestly Gina, I came fr...I remember this age...and honestly Gina, I came from a home that didn't shower me with love, wasn't Christian, and pretty non-communicative. I however have always been a super cautious person...my upbringing had little to do with my choices--I made choices or lack there of rather, out of fear and consequences. I pray you are constantly extending yourself grace--bc you are a fabulous mother!Discovery Streethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07530807140058397796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5055985957805570070.post-14453153265571063392014-06-12T23:19:57.983-05:002014-06-12T23:19:57.983-05:00Oh friend, I love your raw honesty. But I am learning to trust God with my children, knowing He cares for them much more deeply than I ever can. He's such a good father to our daughters and sons.BARBIEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02537827307867912139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5055985957805570070.post-91304077977792205522014-06-12T20:29:46.176-05:002014-06-12T20:29:46.176-05:00It must be so hard to let go and send your child o...It must be so hard to let go and send your child out into the world!
